Alibag - Roha Road Project

Area

85 Kilometers

Description

The Alibag–Roha Road Project focuses on the construction and upgradation of a critical 85-kilometre roadway connecting Alibag to Roha in Maharashtra. This corridor plays a vital role in improving regional connectivity between coastal and industrial zones, while also supporting tourism, trade, and local mobility.

Recognised as one of the toughest road infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, the terrain presents multiple engineering challenges, including difficult topography, heavy monsoons, and complex soil conditions. The project involves strengthening the existing road, improving alignment and safety standards, and enhancing overall ride quality to ensure long-term durability and smoother transportation.
